Gerrymeander Across Texas - Austin Town Hall

  • Carver Branch, Austin Public Library 1161 Angelina Street Austin, TX, 78702 United States (map)

People of all political stripes are overwhelmingly opposed to having the outcomes of elections predetermined for them through unfair redistricting. In fact, a recent bipartisan poll found that 71% of Americans would like the Supreme Court to act to end partisan gerrymandering.

We must stop partisan politicians from manipulating voting maps to keep themselves and their party in power.

In America, elections are supposed to represent the will of the people, not politicians. But partisan politicians manipulate voting maps to keep themselves and their party in power. We need to reform the rules and make the process of drawing districts impartial, so that our government is of, by, and for the people.

JOIN US IN AUSTIN to learn about how to solve this issue and put the people back in power!
