Democracy Class Is Here!

Building up and prioritizing civic engagement is something everyone in Texas can get behind. We know that a community or communities actively participating in the democratic process and being a voice for the issues they care about is how we thrive as a state.

Young voters showed up in 2018 and it’s that kind of participation we hope to see for many more years to come. When you vote early, you are that much more likely to make it a lifelong practice!

Democracy Class (powered by Rock The Vote) is a powerful effort we need in every school this year so young voters can continue to claim their vote!

How does it work?

Rock the Vote is kicking things off with a free, nonpartisan curriculum for young people about the importance and history of voting. You can learn more about it and access the lesson plan by visiting HERE!

Call To Action For Community Leaders and Educators:

As National Voter Registration Day approaches (September 24th!) we’re urging you to visit DemocracyClass.org to download the lesson plan so you can get it in your classrooms and communities! #OurVote
